Location |
"Out of Africa" in Mosselbay, THE SHACK is a totally private beachhouse, situated inside the Moquini Coastal Estate nature reserve. THE SHACK is located on the bank of the Blind River Lagoon and offers fabulous sea views. It's a five minute walk to the ocean, with a thirty kilometer long unspoilt sandy beach. Surrounded by pristine fynbos, small game, resident fish eagles and giant kingfisher can be see. About 5 km from N2 highway, 3 km to the next grocery shop, and 10 km to Mosselbay CBD. THE SHACK offers two large open decks with braai facilities, a large open plan kitchen and living area, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Cellphone reception is possible on the outside. THE SHACK sleeps six to eight people.

Beautiful beach walks, bird watching, fishing, swimming, wild Mosselbay oysters (perhaps best in South Africa), canoe on river, Botlierskop Private Game Reserve within 30 km, and many other opportunites. Many stunning golf courses are located close-by, including Pinnacle Point, Mosselbay Golf Club, Ernie Els' Oubaai Golf Course, Fancourt Country Club, etc.
